a part of the “before sunset” walk - my brother & sister-in-law did this and we caught this part of the trek. they are big fans of the movie and reenacted the wandering walk through paris that they do in the movie – how romantic!
we stayed at the hotel ecole centrale in the marais – a 3 star hotel. very clean, next to a metro station (arts et metiers) and quiet. nothing fancy, but we were only there to sleep so we didn’t care!
as far as meals go, i really enjoyed a romantic prix fix dinner at le petit prince, felafel at l’as du felafel on rue de rosiers, breakfast at cafe charlot, drinks in the bastille at the megalo bar (great mojitos). lots of great places on rue cler, near the eiffel tower.
for shopping, i loved des petits hauts (several locations), BHV and adom vintage.
