words to live by no. 4
this month wasn’t as relaxing as i thought it’d be. i evacuated from isaac last week, i had to reapply for my visa. there were phone calls i didn’t get to make and people i didn’t get to see, but it’s “11:30″ and i’ve got a plane to board. i guess i’m as ready as i’ll ever be. whew. see y’all on the other side!
my dad and today
14 years ago today i lost my dad. i am humbled by his strong yet brief love for me, my family and our community. we miss you dad.
