spent too much time researching moroccan holidays last night?
on saturday will & i ventured out to highgate (nw10) to the north london vintage market, held in a local parish hall. it was FANTASTIC. i racked up on the midcentury finds – brass reading lamp, entryway table, coffee table, pair of botanical prints. everyone took my offers and the best vendor, plan for mondays, delivered everything to me! score! i’ll be back next month.
we’ve estimated that our new flat is the size of our nashville living room & kitchen. YIKES. city livin. or as will keeps saying, “island livin.” it’s strange settling in without a car, you have to do it all in pieces. but i figured i’d share the process of outfitting our mini-flat on our mini-budget. i’m focusing on the living room first.
i have to feel settled in my workplace (and since i’m trying to do this whole music thing from home), i’m ready to make some space for myself and feel comfortable here. especially before the weather turns dismal and it gets dark at 3:30. WHAT. here’s my plan for the beige palace.
