we had snow on the ground for a week – it snowed through last weekend, then it just kept coming. it was so pretty. a mississippi girl can never see enough snow.
what are you up to this weekend? i found a stylist! so i am headed to maida vale to talk wardrobe and prepare for my music video we’re filming on monday/tuesday! can’t wait to share new music with everyone. it’s been too long. xx
i think sunday roast is the best british tradition. roast chicken, potatoes, shredded beets, peas, carrots, turnip mash covered in carmellized leeks and GRAVY served with the doughy goodness of yorkshire pudding (a yeast pop-over). the crown & goose is one of our favorite local pubs, close to our flat with a super cozy vibe. you have to book here on sundays – no walk-in tables will be free. it’s totally worth it though.
will and i went hiking at hampstead heath a few weeks ago on a saturday afternoon. the heath brings the countryside to the city – 500 acres of open, untamed space. after a long hike, we had a pub lunch and browsed a few shops on the high street. a relaxing afternoon outdoors – hard to believe we were just a few tube stops away from home!
